Welcome to Marevilla, your new haven in the heart of Cozumel!
We are thrilled to introduce our newly constructed apartments, providing a perfect blend of modern comfort and tropical tranquility.
We are Liang and Stefan. A married couple, we are natives of the USA and Germany with a so to speak international background and based on the small island of Cozumel in the Caribbean Sea off Mexico.
Marevilla is our very personal project, the idea of which slowly developed over many years during our countless trips and travels. The idea has now evolved into our dream, since we are permanently residing and working in Cozumel. That dream is to rent our own vacation homes to guests here in Cozumel.

Location
Nestled in downtown Cozumel, Marevilla offers a prime location for those seeking a vibrant and convenient Living experience.
Ground Floor
Our ground floor features two inviting studio apartments that have been welcoming guests since January 2024.
These thoughtfully designed spaces provide a cozy retreat for visitors to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Cozumel.
Each of our two ground-floor apartments features a private terrace where you can relax and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a microwave and four-burner stove, makes it easy to prepare more than just a quick snack. A comfortable king-size bed, a spacious bathroom, air conditioning, and a safe in each apartment complete the experience.
First Floor
Our first floor boasts a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment. Completed in January 2026, this spacious apartment has been a popular choice ever since, welcoming families as well as groups of up to four guests.
This elegantly designed living space is available for our holiday guests, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style.
The thoughtfully designed apartment features a master bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed, a private balcony, and a large en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom, which features a queen-size bed, is conveniently located next to the second bathroom.
A fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner induction cooktop, a large refrigerator with a separate spacious freezer, and a dining area make it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together. The comfortable living area, with a cozy sofa and armchair, provides plenty of space for groups of up to four guests to relax and enjoy a very comfortable stay.
Of course, all rooms are also equipped with air conditioning for your comfort.
Garden Oasis
Enjoy your stay with us even more at our new 36 sqm / 400 sq. ft. swimming pool, surrounded by native tropical plants.
This swimming pool was designed not only for swimming, but also specifically with dive training in mind. We carefully planned the pool’s size and depth so that Liang can teach her students how to dive right here in our pool.
Relax with a refreshing drink in one of our lounge chairs while watching the hummingbirds that visit daily to feed among the flowers.
For our diving guests, we have also set up an outdoor washing station for dive equipment. After returning from your dive trip, you can easily rinse your gear in fresh, clean water and hang it up to dry.

COZUMEL OCEAN RESEARCH
We are also excited to announce that Marevilla will host the headquarters of COR - Cozumel Ocean Research,
a local non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO).
COR's purpose is to promote environmental protection, preserve and restore ecological balance, and promote and raise awareness to prevent and regulate pollution of water, soil and air on the island and in the sea. We are proud that Marevilla will be COR's new headquarters from December 2022.
